Www.littletikes.com just posted today that the bike attachment at 6.50 US is now in stock again. We have been waiting a long time also for the part, so I ordered 2 just to be on the safe side. The common complaint on the web is that little tikes is always out of stock and you can never order parts when you need them for this model. Good luck, and happy trails!
I recently (6/20/2013) called the 1800 number for Little Tikes repair parts and the part is still on back order. The customer rep on the phone suggested looking for the part at local bike stores. No luck, in my area, so I made my own repair. I went to the hardware store and bought a stick of 3/4" pex tubing. The tubing is just the right combination of strength and flexibility. I cut a piece about 5" long and put one end inside the tow bar of the trailer. I drilled two holes in the pex tubing, one to pin it the the tow bar, one to attach to the swivel mechanism the installs on my bike. I was afraid the mechanism side would not be strong enough once the hole was drilled so I put a small (1") piece of wooden dowel rod inside the pex and re-drilled the hole through the dowel.I recently (6/20/2013) called the 1800 number for Little Tikes repair parts and the part is still on back order.
