Check intake passages like air filters, aftermarket filters like k&n are great filters but not when there not cleaned up and are clogged. check innitial fuel pressure and leave pressure gauge on vehicle overnight to see how fast fuel pressure takes to build on first start up, if it takes a wile (couple of cranks or so) it might be a fuel pump (check relay to it first there is no pressure and suddenly it jumps up).
