Proform Treadmill 785 E suddenly stops during highs speed workout
My 785 E is about 5 years old, I took it with me from the US to Norway two years back and runs it through a 240 - 120 V converter capable of 750 W (3.25 Amp nominal). This has worked well until a few weeks back when the treadmill was used for interval training with rather high speed. A few times the treadmill inadvertently stopped functioning and had to be reset before starting again. I was wondering if the capability of the converter could be too low for the power needed on high speed? Or what could be the reason for this problem - which make the treadmill a rather risky place for interval. Kjell-Ove

Use 2000W converter instead of 750W because you are using your treadmill on its full power on high speed. 750W converter is not capable of handling its full load resulting the machine malfunctioning. Your treadmill 785E have 2.25 CHP motor, 2.25 CHP is equal to 1677.824712W and 20-Amp minimum Ac outlet is required for your treadmill in order to function in full capacity.
