Program won't open
Built my brochure inside and out and upon attempting to convert one file to pdf the program froze. Shut down and restarted. For both the publisher and the accompanying logo creator the startup screen comes up and will have the computer working for hours literally without the program ever opening. Attempted to repair with install disc without any success. I am afraid that uninstall and reinstall will delete my hours of work on the brochure. Please help!

I don't use that program but perhps I can easy your anxiety a little. You won't lose your brochure if you back it up. Without opening the programs you tried to open your brochure in simply go to the file itself that contains your brochure and copy it to a dvd or a portable media storage. Depending on the size of the file you may be able to zip it and email yourself a copy. Now that your work is safe and away from danger you can try to focus on what is freezing your computer. perhaps instead of trying to convert to PDF format you may try the print command. Instead of printing to your printer, select PDF as your printer. When I create a lengthy project, I always save a few copioes on my computer under different names so i have safety nets just in case I mess up. Good Luck
