I have the Hand Held IT3800 and running Quickbooks POS 8.0. I want to be able to scan weighted items on a Hobart scale. I read on a forum that this is possible through programming the scanner. The UPC for the weighted items reads 6 number for product (first 3 numbers always reads 200) followed by 6 number for weight.

Does anyone know how to have the scanner recognize the product then invoke a f5 keystoke and then enter the weight and after that enter?
