I know a bunch about electronics but not much about optics. I recently acquired a 45" rear projection crt tv with convergence problems. After digging around in it i nodiced that the mirror was cracked and the lenses were dusty. First, how much would it effect the picture to have a crack across the mirror, I know it would hurt the picture but I'm not sure how much. Then, is the mirror anything special or could I just go to a local glass shop and have them cut me a new one? Lastly, is there any special cleaners that I should use to clean the lenses or is there any cleaners that I should stay away from? Thanks in advance.
