Protection light stays on
I had a loose wire form the d2400 amp while i was away someone connected it for me i came back and the amp is on protection mode i checked the wires to the sub and realise that it was negative to positive all the fuse are ok and all the other connections are fine do i have to get the amp repaired

Not unhook the amp completely let it sit for 15 minutes it should reset it self and rehook the amp starting with ground rca and remote than the power last it should be back to normal
no problem glad i could help...thats a good way too but most amps wont reset like that what kind of amp do you have kicker mtx jl
