Pss680 keyboard ,we turn the button on and no power.we have tried it with batteries and the adaptor and still no power,wondering if you are able to offer some advice

If it was just no working on power adaptor I would have suggested the socket was faulty. However as not working on batteries I would suggest it is the on/off switch.
From what I can remember the PSS680 used a slide on/off switch which when you look inside has a metal piece that makes the circuit on the PCB track. Over a period of time this can wear or get clogged up with dust etc.
The other thing you could check is, do you think a wrong adaptor might have been used. Check the polarity against the picture shown on the back of the keyboard. If it is wrong you may have blown some of the power diodes.
