Pump direction of I R model 2545
I have just fitted a new pump only to my compressor the fly wheel is a single belt rather than a three and tapered and was not fitted so my query is is the direction on the wheel the right direction for this pump as it runs the opposite direction to my old pump

Don't bet on it, I once saw a compressor that had 5 belts and hooked to a 400 HP motor and set to run the way the arrow indicated. When they fired it up it sucked the exhaust flat! It should when standing in front of it turn CW as does the motor. I would put a pressure gauge on the output of the compressor and just bump my motor until I got positive pressure on the output of the compressor.
