The Saniplus has a pressure chamber and at the bottom is a rubber membrane which acts as a float switch. Water pressure pushes up on the membrane, the unit turns on, pumps out the waste and as the pressure is released, the membrane goes back down and shuts off. So the problem might be a warped membrane, something stuck at the bottom of the membrane or the microswitch may be stuck on the on position. You will have to open the unit and remove the motor and pressure chamber to inspect it. Also the water level on the toilet is meant to be very low, Saniflo uses a rear discharge toilet, not a bottom discharge (standard toilet). Unfortunately the water level cannot be adjusted on Saniflo toilets. The following are the possible problems and solutions:
The tank flapper (Flush Valve) leaking allowing water into bowl. Make sure flapper is fully seated. If flapper is fully seated and still is leaking replace flapper.
Faulty Non-Return Check Valve, water leaking back into Macerator. Clean and Inspect check valve replace if after clean water still flows back into Macerator.
Check micro switch, the micro switch turns on pump when the water level reaches to a determined level. Location of switch is in the pressure chamber. Check to see if switch is sticking.Note: For safety Macerator should never be operated with lid open
