It can be a problem with a capacitor in the power supply, or some other component. These tv's have an auto shutoff circuit when any current overload is detected, so a shorted cap or any other device and trigger it.
The unit will have to be troubleshot. Sometimes you can get a mobile repair service to come do it at your place.
