Quick time and Vista with internet problems
I recently downloaded quicktime and then started having internet trouble. I have Vista Ultimate. I uninstalled quicktime and still have internet problems. I can no longer connect to my wireless router but if I plug in the network wire I can connect to the internet. My guess is that quicktime changed my internet settings somewhere and I don't know how to fix this. Please help!

Hi there.
I am working on the assumption that you use Vista but XP is just about the same. This method will also hard reset the wireless drivers back to default settings.
Ok, what i want you to do is right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", a list will populate, then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless adapter and "un-install" the device, reboot the PC and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again
keep me informed please
Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!
Restore your system to a week before the installation of quick time.
good luck.
