Radio recieving and putting very poor
The radio works fine in a 500ft radius,after that no one can hear me nor can i hear them.I have tried new antena,new power source,new mic.have checked volts to power supply and it checks out [email protected] volts.My antena is magnetic mount and it is on the roof of my 2004 one ton truck.If i turn my squelch wide open it is very quiet,when someone is parked beside me and they have a C B radio in their vehicle i hear their skip on their radio but not mine.Any suggestions would be great

Just because its a magnet mount doesn't mean its a 100%. I've sold 4 little wheels made by wilson in the past 2 months and they had a ground problem. If you grab the base of the antenna does it give you more squesh? If so it has a ground problem. Have you had that antenna matched to you truck if not that could be your problem. You need to have your SWR checked on your antenna.
