Radio wont work has err message. Would not dispay the word code to enter the code so I diconnected the battery and reconnected it. Now the hazard lights are flashing and the car will not start. Anyone help?
You probably need to reset the security system to get the car to start. Try taking the key out of the ignition and locking the doors using the remote. Wait about 1 minute for the alarm to finish arming itself then unlock again with the remote and try to start it. The err mesage may be gone now, but if not, you may have to get your radio repaired.
Thanks for your advice but the car does not have a security system that I am aware of. I don't have a remote as it does not have central locking. Any other ideas? I have only just purchased the car and was attempting to get it roadworthy order so as to get it registered. Thanks for your advice but the car does not have a security system that I am aware of. Thanks again. After further investigation I have discovered the car does have a security system. I am now ordering a new keypad from the manufacturer (don't have one) which should arrive in a day or two. Hopefully I can then disarm the immobiliser. Appreciate your help. ThanksThanks again.
