RB3-WIRELESS FENDER MUSTANG PRO-GUITAR: WON'T PLAY "FRET NOTES"
I received RB3 with the Fender Mustang PRO-Guitar for Christmas 2012, and it will not play any "FRET notes". I have loaded RB3 and attempted to use the Mustang PRO on two separate Xbox 360 consoles on two separate (Samsung 43in & 50in Plasma) TVs, so I don't believe it is either the consoles or the TVs. > I have watched both the "Welcome to Guitar Pro" and "Meet the Pro Guitar Trainer" videos, now multiple times. SYMPTOMS: > cALIBRATE SYSTEM: Manual CAL is successful on both systems (e.g.: One system's numbers are Audio -54ms, Video 40ms). > TRAINING - NOTE BASICS: - Open E-String Jam: 100% successful @ 100% Speed. No problems. So, timing is not an issue, right? - Decending E-String Riff: "Position Wave" does not appear. When picking the E-String, vibration registers for all notes, however, the 3rd & 2nd Fret notes do not register and receive 0%. Only the Open E-String notes register any %-age. - Simple A=String Riff: Again, "Position Wave" indicator does not appear. When picking the A-String, vibration registers for all notes, however, again the 3rd & 2nd Fret notes do not register and recieve 0%. Only the Open A-String notes register. - Etc.: I've gone through all six "NOTE BASICS" strings training sessions with these same results. - Something else I observed in all cases: When pressing down on any Fret, when the Open-string note arrived, it played fine even though I was pressing down on a (any) Fret. - > CHORD/NOTE HELP: With C/N Help "ON", when a "Fretted" note appears (and fails), the only "Help" that appears is up top on the Guitar Neck display. No "Fingering Information" appears, as described in the "Meet the Pro Guitar Trainer". Failed Notes simply 'freeze' the display with the failed note bracketed at top and bottom in RED (on the track). The only way to 'UNfreeze' the display is to change the Progress position with the D-Pad, return to the current lesson, and begin again by pressing the 'A' button. This is annoying, but understandable if restarting is a normal function of a "working" Fret system. I'm frustrated and at a loss. Both my Pro Drums and Pro Keys seem to work fine (electronically). Would sure appreciate any assistance you could provide. Thanks and best regards
