RCA P52940 question sound
While hookin up different external speakers to tv Via my home stereo system. it made funny sound, Now i don't have sound at all Internal or external. before I had both How do I get my sound back? Thats when I saw the warning to not hook speakers to an external amp. (like my home stereo). Ugg.. Have no idea what the part number for the sound board on tv is or where to get replacement either., if I fried the audio circut on it. Any help is appreciated

Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Update on the sound situation... I went into the menu for the tv and tried to turn on the Closed Captioning. what I found is.. when I set up the closed captioning to come on while the tv is muted... the tv shows the black box on screen, But Does not show any words in the box.
Tested the speakers that I was trying to hook up and they work, @Knight
