Hi.
- Check for fragments of paper stuck inside the printer or on the printer feeding tray.
- Remove printer cartridges.the metal plate contact in the ink carriage using isopropyl alcohol and cotton.
- Clean
- Put back printer cartridges.
- Turn off printer.
- Disconnect printer power cable.
- Restart computer.
- Empty printer cue on computer.
- Connect back and start the printer.
To start test using a different cartridge set. The problem may have been caused by defective cartridges.
Also reinstall the driver software, even if it is rather unlikely that this is a software issue, that is a necessary step in troubleshooting.
After that try powercycling the printer, and do the following cartridge maintenance:
