read CD's
I use my Denon DVD-3930 as my universal audio player. The problem is that is just does not read / load regular audio CD's/SACD's or randomly does (sometimes it does/does not, in case of the same CD!). I tried a DVD cleaning disc, but the same problem continues to occur. Shall I manually clean the lenses? I am not a technician/DVD expert.

I had the same problems with my four year Denon DVD-3910 and the only solution to it was to replace the laser unit with a new one.
There are some repair service on EBay that offer new laser units for only about 50 € and are also willing to change the laser unit for an extra charge of just 30 €.
After this replacement your Denon DVD-3910 will work fine again.
