There is actually no specialised tool to replace they cross member rubber in VT series model commodore . they re a pressed fit rubber from factory and require being pressed out to replace the other way of removing them is to set them on fire i personally do not recommend this as the rubber dose not smell great burning and is very toxi. another option would be go to repco or super cheap and get a service manual. but if you are still haveing problem send me a msg and i will assit step by step on how to do it
Hi you can if you have a socket set the same size as the bush use a socket to push the bush out of its holder b e sure to take the metal surround with it, good luck as it is quite a hard job if you do not have a ramp to do the job on,
A big flat screw driver to get them out and a hammer to tap the new ones back in. Rubber replacements are usually the best to use, compared to urethane. You will get a much smoother ride with rubber, as urethane it might be a bit harsh.
