Rear mounting grass catcher has space along bottom where all the grass gets out. Yes the side shooter is closed. Yes the top door over the catcher is closed. Yes, it's hooked onto the only place I can see to do that

Grass will build up over time on the underside of the deck possibly impairing the flow of the clippings. I use a flat screwdriver to scrape the big clumps of grass off the underside.
