Rear power window does not work. What needs to be replaced? When I purchased from car dealer was not told of malfunction, When I took off the plastic cover, discovered that a wooden stick was holding up the window which is why it would not go up or down

Not sure how long you have had the car but you should have got at least a 3 months warranty on it, in which case the car dealer should pay to have it repaired. It is most probably the electric motor that drives the winder unless you can see a thin cable hanging down inside the door, if the cable has come off you will have to replace the whole winder with the electric motor as I think they come as a unit Hope this helps you
