reboot sequence and only 1 light comes on. I wait about 30 seconds and reset again. This time it completes and we can connect. THis pattern has been going on for about a month. Probably need to reset 3 to 4 times a week. Cable modem going or ISP related?

Sounds like isp is slacking, call them to send a tech, tell them this is rediculas and you need it resoved
