Recently bought 2nd hand lg g4 but I can't bypass lock screen can you help me find the correct bypass tool to download so I can unlock please

The guy I purchased the phone from has seemed to do a disappearing act so now I cannot ask him for the password

Usually has to do with shutting phone off then holding volume up or down along with power button
