Recently, when the car is on and I am driving. The radio will either turn off completely or the volume will go all the way down, the maintenance required light will flash on, the speedometer and tachometer will go to ZERO and then everything will come back on. The car never turns off or looses engine power, is there some electrical problem or connection issues?

Well all of those things happening when the Maintenance Required light coming on should tell you something right there. If you have your owner's manual, open it up and check under warning lights or indicators and see what it recommends.
