Reconnecting the modem
My 3yr old modem works only intermittently so I bought a new gt704wg. Instinct tells me to just plug and play. The new one from Best Buy did not come with an installation CD nor many explicit instructions. I am kind of afraid to go ahead and start the process because I don't want to be left with nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't have the installation CD from 3 years ago.

They do not have any install CD. You have to set it up and then call Verizon to help you set it up completley but you swill be able to get to the 192.168.1.1. site so you can get it online
