Reformatted drive > windows update hang error
I reformatted the drive to reinstall windows vista (not premium, basic)
Pc will not find the cd; error "no operating system found"
the bios is working. What is wrong??
Should I boot from usb flash? and how do i do that?
Do I need to convert to FAT23 to boot from DOS?

My guess is that you have used a faulty OS. Try to reinstall your operating system by using another disk that has an operating system on it. This has happened to me, and I found out the eithet the OS disk that i was using had nothing on it, or it was faulty and did not work. I bet that is what you are dealing with here.
