Registering low salt
We recently (in beginning of May) drained our pool and filled again, added 300 lbs of salt. our pool is the round 24' x 52". The generator has been running fine until just recently we received quite a bit of rain which finished filling up the pool. I have added 200 more pounds of salt just this past weekend. My generator is still registering low salt (91) Am i missing something?

Hello,
your pool has approximately 12,500 gallons of water
this calls for about 310 pounds of salt.
One of your problems can be the acis rain ate away at your salt content
You really need to get aalt test strip kit the kind that reads #'s not the colored strips
Get you salt to as close to 3000ppm as possible to low towards 2700 will throw off the alarm and also to high around 3800 and up will alarm also.
It is also possible to have to much salt and the unit will read 91
Get the pool to 3000ppm either by draining 20% or so and adding fresh water or adding salt which with your amount so far I am thinking you will need to lower it
Run filter only to thouroughly mix the pool for at least 24 hours before trying to generate chlorine.
In the meantime also take your electro cell and soak it in vinegar for 4-6 hours rinse well and put it back together
