I just recently switched from premium to regular this past tank since I was kind of convinced by earlier posts on the topic that regular grade was just as good as premium for the monster. I had no problems at all for the first 50 miles of the tank but I also did not take my bike on the highway at all during those miles. Today however, I got on the highway and for about 25 miles my engine kept (stalling/cutting out?) and then coming back on again after a few seconds. The engine light would come on, the rpms would drop off for about 1 second and then the engine would come back on again. Almost like it was running out of gas but there was plenty of gas left. It happened about 10 times and when I finally got to a gas station I filled it up again on premium. On the way back home the stalling problem happened one time and then I had no problems after that.
