Reiker ''room conditioner'' heater stopped working
Recently purchased a Reiker room conditioner for our TV room. Worked great for about a month and now the heating element has stopped working. Remote, light and fan are still operable. Any suggestions?

I've also had this problem. Solved it with the reset button on the back of the remote. It's under the battery cover, next to the dip switches.
Turn on the remote, with heat. Then, at the wall switch or circuit box turn off power. Wait a few minutes. Restore power and within 30 seconds with remote in range of fan hit the reset button. You should see a countdown from 5-0 on the remote screen.
I did this and the heat started working again.
When the unit is working does it heat the whole room & does it work when the temp. is "0"?

I have of course the same problem......5 times now in 3 years.
i have discovered that for some reason if i disconnect the fan and put it back up it works again for another 8 months or so.
After reading the manual I was unable to reset the remote the way it suggested. I tryed many times. After reading Maggie90's post It worked right away. So, thankyou.
