First, without knowing what universal remote control you have, I can't really provide you with a list of remote codes that might work. A brand and model number (usually found on the remote), would be helpful.
Short of that, there is a likely solution. If you refer back to the users manual for your remote, there will be a "scroll" feature that allows you to enter the codes, one by one, and see which one works. Most remotes have numbers that start with 001 and go up through 300 or 400, so it can be a little tedious, but it should work. It procedure is a little different, but basically you get into the setup or learn section of the remote, enter the code, the press the power button and see if it powers up your device. If it does, then your done! On average, I'd say this process takes 10 minutes or so.
