Remote starter wont work
I installed a remote starter on my 94 nissan altima today. The remote start wont work and the power locks and stuff do. It says i need to program the tach on the unit so it knows the vehicle is running. I cant get the darn thing to go into to program mode. Its an auto start brand model #AS-1535 SH. Im not sure whats going on but if someone can please help me i would really appreciate it.

There are a number of things you need to check.Make sure you have all of your voltages,acc,ign,constant12v.Make sure you have a good tach signal.On the Auto start brands a goood ground is needed.make sure your brake wire is connected.If there is a nuetral saftey wire,please connect it to ground.
Just read over the tach learning procedures for this. Are you sure your hooked up to a good tach source. My notes show its the green wire at the coil. Check your connections and let me know if there good.
