Buy an auto repair manual, either online or at an auto parts store, for that particular year and model. (I prefer Haynes manuals over Chilton's). It will have a detailed procedure for replacing the pump (plus, it'll be useful for many other repairs). Warning: If the pump can't be accessed from the trunk or under the back seat, you'll have to detach and lower the fuel tank, which is a fairly major project (though definitely possible for a do-it-yourselfer).
