Removing the base on a tv
How do I remove the base on my 42 inch digital lifestyle tv so I can mount it on the wall. I have tried to remove all the screws that are surrounding the plate to hole the base but it is still not budging..

There are 5 screws on the back of the TV under the inputs in an x pattern:

Remove these and set aside. You should also see 2 screws on either side of the X pattern, loosen these. You should then be able to slide the TV off the base. Remember to re-tighten the loosened screws. Place the removed screws in the base in case you ever wish to use it in the future.
