Repair MY ms460c jammed and I had to disassemble it to clear. used only back and forth pull on paper no tools. Following this if stalls. Disassembled again and the 4 segment worm drive always stops at the same quarter point as if the shaft is slightly bent. I think it could be fixed by small adjustment to the clearance between the motor worm shaft and the shredder drive gear. ?Question how can I adjust this clearance? Thanks

There are no adjustments for this machine. Chances are that the plastic gear that is driven by the worm gear has a spot that is worn down and when worm gear hits this spot, it does not drive . Replacing gear is the only remedy. Good luck.
