Replace RCI-no light after putting in 2 new RCI Cells
I have an Ecoquest 2 purifier with an RCI cell. I noticed one day that the light from the RCI was pretty dim. I had a replacement cell already so I installed it. The light came on and still dim by my standards. Yesterday-no light and the replace RCI cell message came up. I put back in the rci cell which I had taken out a week ago-so I know it worked. Still no light and still the same message. I took my multimeter and placed it into the connector coming from the board where the RCI cell plugs in. With the unit on, I got 0 volts from the connector at even the smallest voltage settings. I tried an ohms test on the RCI which did not show a complete circuit either. Anyone have experience with this problem? I'm starting to think circuit board. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
