Replaced the rear brakes on 2001 sophia plus passenger cylinder and bled them still spungy peddel
Self adjusters are all the way out the pads i took off are the same thickness as the new ones that i replaced them with. i have a good peddlr when in reverse but not when going foward

Check that you installed the shoes in the right way as shoes are self energising meaning that they tend to put them selves on in a forward direction there fore using less foot pressure. If they ore on the wrong way round then the action will be in reverse which is what you describe . If the linings are the same thickness as the old ones I suggest that the cylinder pistons are jammed in the cylinders and not working at all. If you replace d linings with out doing the cylinder rubbers then the cylinders will eventually leak oil as the runners will be moving over corroded sections in the cylinders.
