I'm looking for a suitable replacement fan for a Dell 1100mp projector. The fan is Sunon GM1207PKV3-A (7 blade) 70mm x 70mm x 20mm fan 12DC. The fan is discontinued and replacement fan by Sunon is ME70201V3-0000-A99 (9 blade) 70mm x 70mm x 20mm fan VAPO Bearing, 12 DC rating voltage, 77 mA power current, 0.93 watts, 2600 RPM speed, 23.5 CFM air flow, and 26 dBA noise. The 3 pin configuration appears to be dell proprietary quick release and not standard TX3 molex used on computer motherboards. The wire colors are red, yellow, and black with yellow in the middle. Can find 70x70x20 easily. I see a lot of 70x70x15 with TX3 connectors. I'm guessing in need an equivalent or higher air flow CFM. Has anyone replace the fan with luck on a dell projector and how did you handle the 3 pin wiring? Please provide details. Thank, your knowledge and comments would be appreciated.
