Replacing fuel pump on a 1996 Plymouth Voyager
I am trying to replace the fuel pump on my 1996 Plymouth Voyager, but can not get the ring off. We have tried a plumbers wrench and tapping it with a screwdriver and hammer and it will not budge. It was recently replaced at a shop about 8 months ago. Could they have put it on too tight or glued it possibly?

CHECK TO SEE IF THEY KNOCKED THE METAL TABS DOWN ONTO RING FIRST. IF NOT SOAK RING WITH PENETRATING OIL FOR A DAY THEN TRY TO GET OFF.
