Replacing the belt for the motor
Trying to replace the belt for the moor. How do I get the replacement belt over the motor shaft? Is there a special tool that will help it over? I don't have the brute strength to pull it behind the shaft.

Most Oreck vacuums are best serviced by removing the bottom rug plate (5 screws). This gives full access to the brushroll, motor, etc.Place belt on motor shaft and using your thumb ,roll belt over pulley on end of brushroll..
The brush roller lifts up and out. Just lift it out but your belt around the roller and belt shaft and push the brush roller back down. I own one too.
