Replacing the bottom comp wood with thin plywood. There's a strip of silver tape attached to the wood with a ground wire attached. What is that tape and where can I find it?
We have no idea what model instrument this is... maybe a piano??? The metal is undoubtedly for electrical shielding... nothing magic. Glue some aluminum foil with contact cement to your replacement wood. Using a screw and a terminal lug with a wood screw, attach the wire to the foil. One can also buy adhesive backed aluminum tape, but the width of that is limited to about 2 inches wide.
