I have several computers set up in my home. One of which I have the Altec Lansing ACS54 Multimedia Computer Speaker System attached. It seems that the front left and right speakers have been damaged to the point that when I listen to music I get that scratchy sound that seems that they have been cracked. Other than that the rest of the system works just fine, and I do not wish to throw it out. My question to you is if it possible to simply replace the above mentioned speakers and go on my mery way? If so, as this speaker system is no longer on the market can I replace the damaged speakers with another brand?
