For 'My Vivitek", all I had to do was got to my On Screen Display for System Info. There is a category there to "Reset Lamp". Simply select "Yes" to set the time lamp to zero. Like it says in the manual, be sure to set the lamp timer to zero. This ensures correct display of the time consumed by the lamp. I hope this helps someone out there!
turn the tv on then follow these steps: press and hold menue and up volume buttons on the side of the tv for about 3 seconds. a messsage will appear, reset lamp timer? select ok on your remote and thats it.turn the tv on then follow these steps: press and hold menue and up volume buttons on the side of the tv for about 3 seconds. a messsage will appear, reset lamp timer? select ok on your remote and thats it.
