RF p2d2 12 smoking
Hi, I have two Rf p2d2 12s wired to 2 ohms and i noticed the other day smoke was coming from my second port as i have a dual ported box. I am running both off a 1100watt alpine mono channel amp. Today i hooked both subs up one at a time and one cuts out and has a weird burning smell and the other is perfect and works awesome, these subs are not even a year old. what is wrong?

You cooked the coil in the sub when you see smoke you have clipped the sub. improper wiring probably the issue ohms must match gain must be set properly . if you had gain all the way up thats what did it.
