I have replace the water hearter control valve, a new one under warranty. I initially get a pilot light to burn, no leaks that i can see. Leak check everything, no leak on the pilot light that i can see. I turn the knob to on and it lights but doesn't stay lite. I have also replace the thermocouple. Now I orginially thought it was the control valve, but when exchanged it did the very same thing.

I am wondering being Lp would the line pressure effect control vavle, would it cause the valve to shut down. Thanks Johnny Fife
