right position till I jog the stick. I'm using Futaba S9254 servo with a Airtronics SD-10G radio with their ten channel receiver. When I physically move the nose the servo does nothing. Thanks
Yes it does sound like the gyro is bad. I had this happen to one of mine also and I sent it to Futaba and they replaced it for me for free. I recomend that you do the same thing and send it in to Futaba. If you are moving the nose by hand and the servo is not doing any thing that means that it is not responding. I would also recomend you sign up with RunRyder.com It is a world wide helly site and people there will be able to help you out if you are trying to set the heli up for the first time. You also might find someone in your area to fly with. I am on there myself my name there is Jon Y here are my pictures on the link below.
Another thing to look at is did you set the gain right on the radio. It needs to be somthing like 60 40 split. I do not know your radio so you might want to ask someone on runryder on how to set your gain.Another thing to look at is did you set the gain right on the radio. You still can send it in to Futaba and they will repair it for a 1/3rd of the price of a new one.You still can send it in to Futaba and they will repair it for a 1/3rd of the price of a new one.
