I got it used, but I don't think it is supposed to lurch so, when I shut it off. It is as though it doesn't brake properly; goes from full tilt to stop, with an unnerving suddenness. I have been used to using a cuisenart and it doesn't behave like that. Anyone I show it, too, agrees that it doesn't seem good for the motor. Is this normal, and if not, what can be done about it?
