Rockfordfosgate P6002 amp protect light goes on
I had my rockrford fosgate p6002 amp working with my two 12" pioneer subs and it was working fine but than i took the amp out and try it in two different cars and the amp's protected light turned on in both times ,there is sound coming aout of the speakers but its too low not even as loud as i know it could sound , i first used 2 10'' subs and than second i used 1 12'' sub and in both times it did the same thing , I tried moving the GAIN up and the FREQ but when i move the gain all the way up the sound stops, the amp power light is on so i know there is power on the amp. Can somebody help me with this problem i dont know what im doing wrong or what is wrong with theamp. ''ALSO I NOTICE THEAMP GETS HOT''

Are u sure u have them running at the right ohms, for not only the subs but the amp too...if you go lower than your amp is rated you can fry stuff...via protect mode......hopefully this helps
Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Your amp os clipp .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you.
