This is a common problem, your drive is in what is known as safe mode or kernel mode, what has happened is some modules of the firmware have failed to load and so it is now only detecting the logic board. I'm afraid there won't be much you can do without the special software to read the firmware aspect of the drive, you need to load what is known as a loader which contains the code to boot the heard drive up so we can write to the firmware (the firmware is stored on the platters) so really your only option is to send it off to a target="_blank">Digital Recovery
