Room thermostat Honeywell T6360B - gravity hot water, pumped CH
Satchwell room thermostat was changed for Honeywell T6360B some time ago, by gas fitter, but doesn't work = does not call for heat when house is cold. Electrician has changed wiring, now pump is on all time even when miniminder is swtiched off. Yellow is in Earth , blue in 3, red in 1. Numbers on equipment not in same order as diagram, =earth234156 (diagram= earth1234). Instructions only show 5 and 6 on T4360E. (This is not a programmable item - but "what product is it about" section of this form will not accept the actual item as above, so had to choose something else to post the problem.)

I'm not quite sure if your saying that there is only two terminals on the new thermostat and there was three on the old thermostat.
I'm unable to find that model number thermostat on the website, so it would be hard me to tell you exactly which wire goes to what terminal, but we may be able to figure it out.
I need to know how many wires and where they go and how many terminals on the thermostat.
If you have hot water heating a lot of times the water pump is on a pressure switch and a water valve is opened and closed by a thermostat. When the valve opens the pressure in the water line drops, the pressure switch closes and turns the pump on, when the valve closes the pressure increases and the pressure switch opens and shuts the pump off.
According to the diagram and description from Honeywell.
This is a Heating and Cooling thermostat.
terminal #3 is Heat and #4 is Cool
Disconnect all power to the pump and thermostat before
You have to trace the wires to be sure.
For Heating only:
One should go to the one side of line or Hot / Power Red #1
One wire should go to Neutral / Earth that should be Yellow #2
One should go to Heat, Valve or Pump. Blue #3
It is very important that these wires go to these places, otherwise
you could burn your thermostat or pump up. If you are unsure or aren't fimiliar with electricity or wiring then have a professional check it for you.
