Report "roots were tangled all around it like a bird's nest, so of course I removed it, thinking it was clogging something, but it still does not work. I also noticed the external hose connection to the pump is heavily corroded - almost looks like orange mud. I cleared it away as best I could. Could there also be this orange muddy corrosion inside the hose causing a blockage? I was thinking of flushing the hose out with water to clear it, in case. Not sure what else to do. The electric outlet to the pump is fine. Appreciate any advice"
